1st March 2011

March 1, 2011

Well, here we are in 2011 !! Where did the time go ?

The yard is now running and save for a few hiccups things seem to be going smoothly.

The pictures show the sand being delivered for the school surface.

The snow didn`t do us any favours at all and resulted in a large chunk of the roof over the covered walkway collapsing !! Luckily there was nobody about so it was all annoying rather than dangerous.

Of course, as with so many things, replacing the roof wasn`t straightforward. The roofing sheets were made to order but the company that manufactures them was shut over the Christmas and New Year period so there was a delay and we would like to thank all of our customers for their understanding and patience during this period.

Same thing with the frozen water pipes !! We are now aware of the problem and will endevour to make sure it doesn`t happen next year…..keep you fingers crossed !!

7 May 2010

May 7, 2010

Here we are over a month past the date that everything should have been completed and still no school !!

Contractors have been moving slower than a slow thing on slow day in Slowville but a few choice words seem to have got them moving !!

I`ve attached some pics of the the school on the day it was supposed to be finished.

1st May 2010. Completion Day !!! :)

Lots of machines sitting about with nobody working them.

April 17, 2010

Well !! 1st  of April didn`t happen !!

Still trying to get the contractors up to speed with the new school. We`ll post some pictures in the next couple of days.

Most of the stables in the barn are clean and ready for use after a couple of days steam cleaning……yukky job that was but well worth the effort !!

Chart Farm

March 10, 2010

The Udimore Team….Martine, Debbie and David…. have decided to take on the livery yard at Chart Farm in Seal Chart.

Those of you that know the yard will be aware that it has experienced a troubled few years and is suffering from long term lack of maintenance !!! ….Yep …it`s mess !

There are a few pictures below that show exactly what we are up against. Unfortunately my camera was playing up the first day I went there and the pictures didn`t work so the pictures shown are a couple of days after we started clearing up !!

Sand school !!!

So, after a couple of days we have a full skip, a mountain of scrap metal and a bonfire that`s been burning non stop !

The place still looks a mess.

The aim is, that by 1st April 2010 we will have at least one functioning school and 20 stables ready for use. Further details will be posted on the website over the coming weeks but if you have any questions feel free to post on here or ring Debbie on o7500 964542 or Martine on 07840 270790
